I have great appreciation for outspoken photographers. Mate Moro is such a photographer that pushes beyond comfortable boundaries and expectations. He makes images just a little bit brighter. With a keen eye, clean aesthetics and artistic slashy style, Mate Moro is one to keep an eye on.

Trained in art, design and photography, his work are never by chance. Moro has given great attention to clean, clear and almost clinical productions. Looking at his work you would be right in making a “where the hell does he get his ideas from?” judgement. His use of masterful color, form and three-dimensional space are insane. The combination of items which do obviously not fit together creates a special kind of absurdity and beautiful understanding. His editorials are the most interesting I’ve seen lately and very pleasing to the eye.
